At the Global Cybersecurity Forum in Riyadh, thought leaders from around the world gathered to discuss how to bolster their defences against cyber crime.
From hybrid war to human vulnerability, online threats are rapidly evolving and participants stressed that cybersecurity can no longer be treated as a specialist technical issue.
“Once you connect a device to the internet, there's a potential vulnerability that you're connecting to as well,” Craig Jones, Former Director of Cybercrime at INTERPOL, told Euronews.
The event, which took place from 1-2 October, touched on topics from artificial intelligence to gender equality, emphasising the multi-disciplinary approach needed to build resilience in a hyperconnected world.
